With over three decades of experience in cosmetic and family dentistry, Dr. Lyon has been proudly serving the South Austin community since 1991. Dr. Lyon’s passion for dentistry is evident in her continuous pursuit of knowledge and expertise. She stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in cosmetic and laser dentistry through ongoing education and evening study clubs. By embracing innovative techniques, such as advanced Invisalign and implant dentistry, Dr. Lyon ensures that her patients receive the highest standard of care.
As a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry and a member of prestigious organizations like the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Lyon is committed to professional excellence. She also actively participates in the Texas Dental Association, serving on committees and organizing state meetings to promote dental education and advocacy.
Dr. Lyon’s dedication extends beyond her practice. She actively contributes to the community through organizations like the Capital Area Dental Foundation, supporting the HAMM project, which provides dental services to local musicians. Additionally, she volunteers her time and expertise with Christina’s Smile, Texas Mission of Mercy, Manos de Cristo, and other charitable initiatives aimed at helping those in need.
In her personal life, Dr. Lyon cherishes spending time with her two sons and grandchildren. They enjoy family adventures, whether it’s a beach getaway, hitting the slopes, or experiencing the vibrant music and theater scene in downtown Austin. Dr. Lyon also finds solace in traveling, reading, and maintaining an active lifestyle through regular workouts.
